Palma Vela 2025

The Real Club Náutico de Palma announces the postponement of the 17th edition of the PalmaVela regatta, which was scheduled for this coming May, due to the current situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The event, which will feature an offshore race for boats equal to or greater than nine meters in length, will now be held in October this year.
PalmaVela is well established as the curtain raiser for the Mediterranean racing season but it is increasingly drawing a bigger overseas entry, a more diverse fleet, and more and more grand prix teams looking to set their year in motion racing against high quality opposition.

Giraglia Rolex Cup
June 7 – June 11, 2025 (Provisional)
Location: St. Tropez (France, Mediterranean Sea)
Classic offshore test. A desolate island off the coast of Corsica, La Giraglia lands its name to one of the definitives regattas in the Mediterranean. Contestants must tackle 243 miles from St. Tropez around the lighthouse-crowned rock of Giraglia and back to the mainland to Genoa. Started in 1953 it's a classic test of sailing skills: preparation, tactics, pinpoint navigation and superlative timing.

IBIZA JOY SAIL 2025

Location: Palma de Mallorca (Spain, Mediterranean Sea) - Ibiza Formentera
Ibiza JoySail is a new, exciting and safe sailing event in one of the most exclusive destinations in Europe.
From September 27-30, 2023, STP Shipyard, the benchmark refit and repair hub in Palma de Mallorca, and the must-visit Marina Ibiza on the famous white island will open their doors to sailors and guests for four days of exciting racing and great events.
In isolation we have developed a deep hunger to live, to explore, and to share experiences with others.
Teams will arrive to Mallorca and take part in a series of thrilling offshore and inshore regattas between Palma, Ibiza and Formentera.

Regata Copa del Rey 2025
July 26 – August 2, 2025
Location: Palma de Mallorca (Spain, Mediterranean Sea)
The prestigious Copa del Rey (King’s Cup) is now a major date on the international yachting calendar and competing teams include America’s Cup participants.
King Juan Carlos I of Spain is a former competitor and won the trophy twice in the nineties while skippering Jose Cusi’s Rogue. The King now regularly attends as a spectator with an entourage of Spanish royalty, as well as a number of local worthies including the Mayor of Palma and the President of the Balearic Islands. The Real Club Náutico de Palma (Royal Nautical Club) has been hosting the event since its birth in 1982 and has proved itself to be one of the Mediterranean’s premier yacht clubs.

Cowes Week 2025

Cowes Week is one of the UK's longest running and most successful sporting events and is a key highlight of the British sporting summer.
The regatta has evolved enormously since 1826, and now over 1,000 boats in up to forty different handicap, one-design and multihull classes race every day for eight days
Around 8,500 competitors now participate, ranging from Olympic and world class yachtsmen to weekend sailors. The spectacle that the racing provides, together with the vibrant festival atmosphere attracts over 100,000 visitors to Cowes during the event.

Rolex Fastnet Race 2025

The biennial Rolex Fastnet Race has been an established fixture on the ocean racing circuit since 1926. The 607-mile race is a test of strategy and skill with challenging tidal currents and changeable weather. The fleet starts off the renowned Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes, races out the Solent and across the often tempestuous Celtic Sea to the Fastnet Rock, and returns on a reciprocal course to the finish off Plymouth.

Les Voiles de Saint Tropez 2025

Rolex Middle Sea Race 2025
